Off-site Detour Routes

In order to construct the new interchange, the contractor will utilize interstate detours, and local road closures. Temporary off-site interstate detours and local road closures will be utilized during nighttime hours only, between the hours of 10 p.m. and 5 a.m.

Local Road Closures

• Southbound I-95 to Stockton St.
  I-95 Southbound exit to Stockton Street will be closed during the Summer of 2006, and will remain closed for 3-4 years. In the interim, a temporary exit ramp will be constructed at Forest Street and will remain in service until permanent access is constructed.
  
  

• Forest Street Closures
  Forest Street will be closed periodically at night only for various bridge construction activities. Traffic will be detoured as shown.

• Stockton Street Closures
  Stockton Street will be closed periodically at night only for various bridge construction activities. Traffic will be detoured as shown.

• College Street Closures
  College Street will be closed periodically at night only for various bridge construction activities. Traffic will be detoured as shown.
